The Beat is reporting that Delta has also pulled back on tickets sold via Expedia. Like American, Delta is apparently only selling domestic coach tickets now on Expedia.
This change does not affect the Expedia Corporate Travel (ECT) program. Delta continues to offer all of its tickets on ECT.
I’m assuming this is the same issue related to the GDS costs and using Sabre in place of Worldspan.
With two carriers pulling back inventory on Expedia, this is more of a trend than an individual incident.
