Orbitz IPO - The Sequel

The Beat is reporting that Travelport is considering a possible IPO for Orbitz including the other online assets of CheapTickets and eBookers.
Orbitz’s first IPO was back in the fall of 2003 when it was majority-held by the carriers.

United’s $5 Increase Officially Dead

This morning Delta rolled
back 16,948 fares by $5 one-way and United rolled back 13,879.
Continental also pulled back 4,088 fares.
Last night Northwest reduced 8,007 fares by $5. US rolled back its
increase yesterday afternoon. American was the first to retreat
yesterday morning.
This round of increases of $5 one-way was started on Friday, January 19
by United.

Northwest Rolls Back $5 Increase

Tonight Northwest filed 8,007 fare reductions of $5 one-way, rolling back the majority of its earlier increases on Sunday.

DL & US Pull Back on $5 Increase

This afternoon Delta scaled back on it’s earlier $5 increase (one-way), by filing 19,218 fare reductions.
US Airways also pulled back, filing 7,907 fare reductions of $5 (one-way)..

AA and UA Rollback Part of $5 Increase

In this morning’s fare update, American filed 14,905 reductions of $5 one-way and United filed 8,033 reductions of $5.
Delta and Continental also tweaked their increases reducing 1,979 and 1,137 fares by $5 respectively.
