Partial Rollback of Increase

Posted on Monday 26 March 2007

This morning American, Continental, Delta and United all rolled back a significant portion of the $5 fare increases. While rolling back some increases, Delta expanded its $5 increase in the same update to secondary markets.

Alaska Airlines also joined in on the $5 increase in this morning’s feed. Alaska’s increase affects 86 top markets.

Note that a large number (roughly 70%) of the markets where the $5 increase was rolled back are Southwest markets.
